Meet the team

Alice began her journey in estate agency at the beginning of 2024, joining Bramleys in September 2024. Alice is eager to progress and expand her knowledge within the industry and, having lived in Mirfield all her life, she is familiar with the area and surrounding localities.

Commencing her employment as an office junior in 1997 working for a corporate agency, she quickly progressed through the ranks to a senior sales negotiator. Joining Bramleys in 2010, Amy’s positive attitude and attention to detail is highly valued within her team where she forms an integral part of the success of the Mirfield office, providing advice to clients from instruction to completion.

Having lived in Heckmondwike all her life, she provides a wealth of experience of the locality and varied property styles within the Spen Valley, Carreen started her property journey in 1992 before being employed as sales negotiator for Holmes and Gardner. Bramleys incorporated Holmes and Gardner in the early 2000’s and quickly recognised Carreen’s talents, promoting her to Branch Manager in 2004 where she has led her team ever since.

Debbie's first venture into estate agency was in 1988 when she was employed by our Partner, Paul Keighley, prior to them both arriving at Bramleys. Debbie took a few years out on maternity to bring up her son and was welcomed back into estate agency in 2005 and provides yet another highly experienced sales negotiator within the Huddersfield office.

Emily started her estate agency journey in 2022 as a sales negotiator for a corporate agent in Pudsey. After relocating closer to the Huddersfield area, she moved to Bramleys in 2024 looking to progress her career further and gain additional qualifications. Emily loves building strong rapports with her clients and helping them through the sales process to completion. In her spare time she enjoys travelling and going to watch live music.

Originally working for Holmes and Gardner which was purchased by Bramleys in 2004, Gemma progressed to Senior Negotiator at our Mirfield office. Following a short break for maternity, Gemma returned and currently operates a dual role as Valuer and Branch Manager across our Spen Valley office. Coming from a property background as her father was a well-known property developer within the area, she has extensive knowledge and expertise for all things property related.

Residing in Elland for most of her life, Hannah joined Bramleys on a part time basis whilst studying for her degree. Having obtained the degree she left to pursue her chosen career. When our Elland branch opened in 2006, Hannah was asked to return as senior negotiator, which she was delighted to do. Being promoted to Residential Valuer in 2013 covering the Calderdale area, she took maternity leave in 2014. On her return she continued in her role, subsequently Hannah was promoted to Branch Manager in 2019 and continues to bring her wealth of property knowledge and experience to the Calderdale area.

Having started her career as a mortgage specialist for 15 years, Joeanne followed her heart and made the jump into the estate agency profession in 2013. Joining our team in 2022 as Assistant Branch Manager in our Calderdale office, Joeanne is a people person, passionate and determined and brings her wealth of property knowledge and experience to the Calderdale area.

Having initially worked for Bramleys in 2000 and returning to our company in 2016 following a leave of maternity and working for corporate agencies in-between, Karen is based in our sales department at our flagship branch. Being promoted to Senior Sales Negotiator in 2020, being responsible for ensuring the negotiating team are working effectively and efficiently, Karen has recently undertaken her Level 3 qualification in the Sale of Residential Property, gaining the MNAEA credentials.

Kerry started her estate agency career at Bramleys, when she took up the role as weekend sales negotiator, alongside her studies. After achieving her A levels in Law, Business and Criminology, Bramleys were delighted to have Kerry return to join the Calderdale team in 2022 as full time sales negotiator. Kerry has an enthusiasm for property and always goes above and beyond to assist her clients.

Lisa joined Bramleys in 2000 as a PA to one of the Partners. Her hard work and determination were recognised, and she was given the opportunity to train as a valuer in the Huddersfield office. Being promoted to Senior Valuer in 2005, Lisa was further promoted to Branch Manager of our Mirfield office and recently to Residential Sales Branch Manager of our Huddersfield office where she continues to this day to maintain the success of the branch whilst giving professional advice to our clients.

Joining Bramleys 1993, Paul became a Partner in 1998 and has been the driving force for growing our successful residential sales and lettings departments over the past 30 years. Overseeing our residential offices across Kirklees, Calderdale and The Spen Valley, Paul has responsibility for all aspects of Residential sales and valuations whilst specialising in new homes sales and valuations alongside land disposal. Being responsible for maintaining our high level of service and reputation, Paul still enjoys the face to face contact with clients and regularly undertakes home visits to provide advice.

Paulina began her journey in estate agency in 2022 working for a corporate agent and joining Bramleys in 2024. Eager to learn and work closely with clients/vendors to apply her positive, friendly attitude and good communication skills, Paulina is keen to progress and work towards achieving membership to the NAEA. In her spare time she enjoys travelling and long walks and hikes in the Yorkshire Dales.

With a wealth of knowledge in the Kirklees property market, Sammi joined the Bramleys family as a Sales Negotiator based at our Huddersfield office. Being responsible for a portfolio of properties to progress to a successful completion, Sammi provides a helpful hand to her clients to assist with all aspect in the transaction. Previously working for a reputable, independent Estate Agency, she will continue to develop her skills and knowledge in the busy head office environment, forming an integral member of the team.

Joining the Commercial department in 2019, George looks after the sale and letting of commercial properties alongside Jonathan and Sheraz. George helps his colleague, Sheraz, with maintaining our portfolio of commercial and block managed properties. George is currently undertaking a study programme with the University College of Estate Management which will result in him gaining a degree in Estate Management.

With over 17 years’ experience in the commercial property industry, Jonathan joined Bramleys as an assistant to former senior partner Peter Butler. Developing his skills and expertise within the business, Jonathan studied for his degree in Estate Management with Reading University obtaining a first class degree, before qualifying for chartership as a RICS surveyor. Being responsible for the growth of our Commercial Agency department across the Yorkshire region, he became a partner in Bramleys in 2021. Specialising in the sale and letting of industrial, retail and office properties, Jonathan can also provide formal written valuations for commercial properties.

Spending 19 years in the banking industry, Bev decided to take a career change and joined Bramleys in 2010 as lettings administrator. Bringing with her a wealth of experience, she provides support for our Property Managers and is responsible for creating brochures for new Lets.

Joining Bramleys in 2005 as PA to one of the Partners, her attention to detail and tremendous work ethic was quickly identified therefore she undertook training and was promoted to trainee residential valuer, incorporated into the sales team. Eleanor transitioned into the lettings team where she now undertakes lettings valuation, inspections, inventories, move ins and move outs. She works closely with the Head of Property Management Michelle in overseeing the lettings team and is responsible for the continued success of the department.

Having studied Hospitality and Catering, Helen started her career as a hotel receptionist and throughout the years, worked her way up to Front of House Manager. Helen found the most enjoyable aspects of the job was meeting people and customer service, which led her having a change of career and joining our Lettings and Property Management department which she has done since 2017.

Having studied at Huddersfield University and gaining a Degree in Events Management, Mehreen started her early career in the financial services industry. Throughout her working career she has gained a wealth of experience, building strong relationships with various clients, acquiring excellent communication skills and has a keen eye for detail, making her an excellent addition to the residential lettings department. Mehreen is responsible for property management accounts within the lettings department.

Overseeing the property management accounts for over 900 properties, Melanie is born and bred in Huddersfield and has worked in accounts for over 30 years. A keen amateur thespian, Mel is a member of the Huddersfield Light Opera Society and Huddersfield/Halifax Thespians.

Joining Bramleys in 2004 armed with excellent customer service skills and a key eye for detail, it is no wonder that Michelle progressed from Lettings Negotiator to Lettings Manager in a short space of time. With extensive knowledge of the rental market around the West Yorkshire region and keeping up to date of current legislation relevant for the industry, she is a highly experienced property agent and provides the best quality of service to landlord or tenant. Being promoted in 2022 to Head of Property Management, she now oversees the department in ensuring everything runs like clockwork whilst working closely with the Partners in key decision making within the lettings sector of Bramleys.

Nick is a very valued member of the lettings team and spends most of his time on the road meeting tenants, undertaking property inspections, inventories and check out reports. Initially beginning his career with a local corporate agent, he joined our Property Management team and is now the smiling face of our department.

Previously working in London within the lettings industry for 6 years, Soneka relocated to Huddersfield and joined Bramleys as a full time Property Manager to cover maternity leave. She was offered a permanent position and now applies her knowledge and experience to her own portfolio of landlord and tenants. Enjoying freelance makeup artistry in her spare time, she is a very talented individual and is an asset to the lettings department.

Being a valued member of our team since 2007, Vikki joined Bramleys as a sales negotiator and successfully held this position for over 6 years. After a short break for maternity, she returned to bring her experience to the property management department. Whilst supporting the Property Managers, she deals with general enquiries, books lettings inspections and undertakes viewings.

Dan originally joined Bramleys in 2009 as a Sales Negotiator and progressed to Residential Valuer within the sales team, where he worked for several years before qualifying with RICS as a Residential Surveyor and Registered Valuer in 2020. Following a short time away from the business with a national surveying firm, he rejoined Bramleys in 2023. Dan strives to provide high quality survey and valuation reports to a wide range of private and corporate clients across the region.

With over 17 years’ experience in the commercial property industry, Jonathan joined Bramleys as an assistant to former senior partner Peter Butler. Developing his skills and expertise within the business, Jonathan studied for his degree in Estate Management with Reading University obtaining a first class degree, before qualifying for chartership as a RICS surveyor. Being responsible for the growth of our Commercial Agency department across the Yorkshire region, he became a partner in Bramleys in 2021. Specialising in the sale and letting of industrial, retail and office properties, Jonathan can also provide formal written valuations for commercial properties.

Caitlyn joined the weekend team in 2023 and deals with enquiries for both sales and lettings.

Cath oversees the in-house accounts for Bramleys. Being brought up in the Huddersfield area, she has worked in accounts for over 20 years.

Christine is PA for Partner Alex McNeil, typing his commercial and residential professional reports.

Claire is a valued member of our weekend team and has worked for Bramleys since 2001.

Initially joining Bramleys as a PA for Residential Partner, Paul Keighley in 1993, Donna showed great leadership qualities and organisational skills and was subsequently promoted to Head of Secretarial, Office Manager, Practice Manager and to her current role as Partnership Manager. Donna oversees the main HR and compliance duties as well as ensuring all offices and staff work together like clockwork to maintain our high levels of service. She also works closely with the Partners in key decision-making within the company.

Eve joined the weekend team in 2023 and deals with enquiries for both sales and lettings.

Hannah types the commercial and residential professional reports ensuring they are typed accurately and in a timely manner. Hannah also provides additional support to the Residential Sales secretarial department as and when required.

Joining Bramleys in 2002, Jackie is PA to Consultant Andrew Moorhouse and oversees the main secretarial duties for the Residential Survey department, ensuring all reports are completed in a timely manner.

Jagdeep is the account supervisor at Bramleys and is a highly qualified Chartered Accountant, her expertise and knowledge provide valuable support to the partners.

Katie oversees the main secretarial duties for the Residential Sales department’s valuers, ensuring property details are typed accurately and that all compliance duties are followed before properties are made available. Katie also oversees our online auction department and is responsible for ordering legal packs, compiling property details and monitoring activity.
