Bramleys raising money for Forget Me Not this summer

We’re pleased to announce that this summer, we’ll be helping to raise vital funds for the incredible Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice by taking part in the Colour Run on 30^th July and the Dragon Boat Race on 10^th September.

Ten of us, including partner Paul Keighley, will be putting our running shoes on, and getting covered in coloured powder, on 30^th July in Greenhead Park.

A family fun event, the 3.5km can be walked, jogged, or run. Some of us only put on a pair of trainers once or twice a year, but we’re getting in the Bramleys spirit to help raise money for this amazing local charity.

On 10^th September at Pugneys Country Park, The Dragon Boat Race is set to up the ante amongst our competitive members of the team. Paul, Jonathan Wilson, and Graeme Haigh – three of our partners – will be taking part in this one.

We’ll have a team of 16 paddlers and one drummer, who’ll keep the rest of us in rhythm! There will be three 250m races in dragon-decorated boats, and we’re determined to win. It’s set to be a fun filled day, with an onsite café and face-painting.
